Prepare to be mesmerised in Malahide!
Following the success of previous years, we returned to our North Dublin location at Malahide Castle & Gardens for our sixth season.
Details regarding this year's brand-new theme will be revealed soon—stay tuned!
New for 2026:
Memory Capture - photographers will be on site to capture picture perfect moments of you with your loved ones among the show. You can choose your shots at the end and decide if you'd like to purchase a printed and digital copy.
Last year, our theme "Once Upon a Glow" brought a mesmerising display of over one million lights to the historic estate. Guests journeyed through the Portal of Light—a towering installation standing 5 meters high and 10 meters wide—and marvelled at the stunning Symphony of Light pond show and immersive projection mapping onto the castle walls. Visitors were transported through the vibrant colours of "Taste of Holland," witnessed glowing hot air balloons, explored the Mystical Forest, and celebrated in our largest Love Area yet. Set to a specially composed soundtrack and a landscape filled with atmospheric light and sound, it was a truly captivating experience for all ages.
Alpine Food & Drink Village

It will be open every evening of the event, so you can treat yourself to some delightful bites before or after your walk by Wonderlight.

A Sustainable and Eco-Conscious Event
We work in close partnership with the grounds staff of Malahide Castle to enhance the natural features of the woodland areas and maintain the integrity of the parklands.
The shows are powered with energy-efficient bulbs that use up to 80 per cent less energy than traditional lighting.
In selecting Malahide Castle & Gardens we are advocating accessibility by public transport. While there is a car park, the location is served by numerous bus routes and the DART, which we encourage our visitors to choose where they can.

OUR POLICY OF
Inclusion
We have a commitment to inclusion at all our events for every member of society. We will be creative, adapt, invest and climb over backwards to make it possible for you to join our experience. Only health & safety are deemed appropriate preclusions from you and yours joining us.
