Presenting a brand new show 'The Magic of Winter’, Where Light Comes to Life! Prepare to be mesmerised by Ireland's biggest ever light show unveiling breathtaking new displays alongside beloved classics from November 10th to January 2nd.
 

Now in its fourth year, guests will be immersed in a world where nature awakens in vibrant hues, and light dances in harmony with the darkness. This dazzling and highly accessible sensory walk promises to captivate all ages, making it the perfect outing for families, couples, and friends alike.

 

Embark on your Wonderlights journey and be transported into a fairytale realm. Discover enthralling projections on the Castle and enchantment at every footstep. Meet the beloved Talking Tree, venture into the deep Arctic Oceans and explore life in the Frozen Lands as light explodes into life. Take a stroll among the Magical Flying Fairies, keep a close eye out for them flying about!  With the integration of cutting-edge technology, Wonderlights offers new areas to explore, providing engaging and entertaining experiences for guests of all ages.  'The Magic of Winter' would not be complete without a visit to our Alpine Food Village where a selection of food vendors will offer delicious hot food, treats and winter warmers.

 

This year, Wonderlights introduces dazzling interactive light-up wristbands which are included in each child’s ticket. Reacting in colours and flashing along in sync with various displays along the way.  These wristbands ensure your child is an active part of the adventure, and they are the perfect memento to take home from an unforgettable experience. 

 

Wonderlights collaborates closely with Malahide Castle's grounds team to elevate the beauty of the woodland spaces and preserve the parklands' essence. Wonderlights opts to be powered with hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO). Widely recognized as one of the most environmentally friendly fuel alternatives, HVO reduces CO2 emissions by an impressive 90%. In alignment with this commitment to sustainability, all lighting fixtures utilize the most energy-efficient bulbs currently on the market.

 

With plenty of onsite parking and road signage from public transport routes, as well as being fully wheelchair accessible and pram friendly, this experience is perfect for family and friends of all ages to enjoy.
